70+ Quotes on Breathing to Live a Mindful Life

Welcome to our post on quotes on breathing to help you learn more about breath and breathwork, and bring it into your life. Before we start, take a moment to breathe in deeply, and exhale a long breath. You’re here…

Breathing has saved my life – truly. In my very young life where I’ve only crossed two decades on earth, I have experienced a lot of mental health issues.

I have had depression come and go, but my worst point in life was when I had anxiety, less than two years ago. Work had completely darkened my day-to-day and I woke up every day with my heart racing, throwing up each morning.

What helped me rescue myself and keep going on was breathing. Of course, we all breathe, but how much do we breathe consciously? In the moments I would feel helpless and absolutely defeated, I relied on breathing, deeply and slowly. I would tune myself out from the world and reside in my consciousness.

You can watch this video that will help you practice a relaxing breathing technique to calm yourself down not only in tension but in every moment. It’s so important to remember to breathe.

We’ve compiled some really impactful quotes on breathing that will help you today. I hope that wherever and however you are in your life, connecting with your breath will bring you to a place of serenity and keep you there.
